Digital Festoon offers full RGB LED control when operated from DMX. The system can individually control up to 150 special LED globes all on a common cable. The wiring strategy is user defined and can be formed from any 8A rated cable and lamp holders including standard festoon harness.

The LED units are just like a standard bulb with a standard ES base. Internally they include special decoding circuitry and high intensity RGB LEDs. The LED units can even be retro-fitted into existing festoon installations. Simply wire the cable back to our special power unit and program the system to realize a fantastic colourful lighting display.

The LED unit looks like a standard ES lamp. The globe measures 55mm diameter. The units feature excellent environmental protection and are suitable for use outdoors.

Two versions are available, standard and high intensity. The high intensity version is about 50% brighter than the standard unit.

The LED units include four RGB LEDs (six for high intensity version) and now feature full RGB control.

True linear current control (not PWM) to give excellent flicker free colour when viewed with a video camera.

The maximum length of cable is 100m although a number of cables can be run in parallel from a given power unit.
